Hello! My name is Josie Drake, and I am honored to continue teaching at Pioneer, now as a 5th grade teacher! I graduated from Sacramento State with a B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development and earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential through Sacramento State’s teaching credential program.

Teaching runs in my family and has always been one of my greatest passions. I love creating a classroom where students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn. I believe in helping students grow not only academically, but also as confident, curious, and independent individuals who are willing to take risks, ask questions, and learn from their experiences.

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time outdoors. You can often find me hiking, camping, backpacking, paddleboarding, snowboarding, gardening, or finding a new adventure to try. I also enjoy cooking, spending time with friends and family, and continuing to learn and explore new things myself!

I am grateful to be part of the Pioneer community and look forward to continuing to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff. I am excited for all of the learning, growth, and memories this school year will bring!

Hi there! My name is Jennifer Webber and I am a 6th grade teacher here at Pioneer. I have taught the 5th/6th combination class at Pioneer for the past 3 years, and I am teaching 6th grade only for the first time this year. I was born and raised in a little town called Windsor in Sonoma County, CA. I attended Sacramento State (go Hornets!) for my undergrad and went to UC Davis for my teaching credential. I also studied abroad at a university in Chile for a year, and I am bilingual in Spanish. Outside of school I love to read, play with legos & puzzles, travel, go to Pioneer sports games, and spend time with my family and my two cats (Kobe & Korra). I am looking forward to another great year at Pioneer!

Hi everyone! My name is Chloe Robinson, and I’m thrilled to be in my third year of teaching special education at Pioneer! I graduated from Sacramento State (Stingers Up!) with my bachelors in Liberal Studies. I also recieved my credential from Sacramento State and I am continuing my education to get my Masters in May 2027. I am originally from the bay area but moved to Sacramento a few years ago. My passion for teaching is one of my greatest joys. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful red Golden Retriever and traveling the world. I’m also a big fan of the SF Giants! I’m looking forward to an exciting and successful 2026-2027 school year with all of you!
